Next scheduled race is July 10th, 2009 and is a Points
race. If you are coming from out
of town and want to call me before you drive 530-905-2337
We
will make up the rain out day of June 12th on July 31st
that will be 3 races in a row July 24th, July 31st, and August
7th so make sure you mark your calenders
We will be doing some tech of cars at the next
race so make sure that you have everything legal on your Karts
Lets all thank Ron, Rachel and all the crew
that work very hard to provide us a great place to race. The
extra laps after time-ins worked real good and we will
continue with that program the next race, hope everyone enjoyed
the extra laps!
We will have a special Spaghetti dinner
that includes French bread, corn and a small soda for $4.75
at the concession stand next week so make sure you get one
of these great dinners for you and your family while they
last!!!!!!
We need kart owners that would like to display
your karts at the big track on Saturday night to notify me. It
is free entry to the Saturday races if you take your Kart and
display it and enjoy the races!
New Rule
Effective Immediately!!
No driver, pit person, parent or person
associated with a Kart is allowed at the flag
stand or announcers booth to argue with track
personnel! A violation of this rule could result
in any of the following: disqualified from the
event, loss of points for the night, A Fine or
suspension from future events and or all of the
above. This is a family event and we want to
keep it that way so please lets all remember we
are here to have fun.
There are
a few rule changes this year so please make sure that everyone
brushes up on them to make sure there are no new rules that
effect you.
We have a new Photographer this year so make
sure you visit her web site at
www.2uphoto.com if you have special request for certain
family or sponsorship photos please ask her.
We are
still looking for a few class sponsors, if you have an interest
in becoming a class sponsor please contact me by email or phone.
I would Like to welcome Lava Lanes as
the sponsor of the Novice Class, Southern Oregon Speedway
as the sponsors for the Jr.500 and J.L. Waldon Construction and
investments for the open 500cc class.
We are
still looking for additional drivers or Kart owners that would
like to display your Kart at the big track on Saturday night, if
