flag is displayed, at the designated point. Single file starts
will be at medium speed until the lead kart begins to race at
the start cone. At this point the race will begin when the green
flag is displayed. Double file starts, the two lead karts must
stay side by side until reaching the start cone. Failure to do
so will result in both karts sent to the back.
- RED AND YELLOW TOGETHER- Restart
the race. This is only on the first lap. All kart involved will
go to the back of the pack.
-
YELLOW FLAG Caution- No
Racing to the yellow. All
karts will slow to pace lap speed. We will use a split yellow
system. Karts that have already passed the flag stand when
the flag comes out will be scored as they crossed, those that
haven't will be scored from the previous lap. Those
involved in the yellow will go to the back of the pack. Karts will fall into single file.
- RED FLAG- Stop as soon as safely
possible. Line-up will revert back to the previous lap. Failure
to observe red flag will result in disqualification.
- BLUE & YELLOW FLAG- To inform
slower karts that the leader is about to pass. Hold your current
position.
- ROLLED BLACK FLAG - If you are
shown a rolled black flag this means you are being given a
warning to stop whatever it is you are doing whether it is rough
driving, etc. It is just a warning.
- BLACK FLAG - If flagman points
the black flag at you and it is not rolled you are to exit the
track and return to the pits in a calm and safe manner. If you
do not get off of track you will be disqualified and loose
points for that night. Do not go to flag stand for any reason,
track officials in the pits will let you know why you were black
flagged.
- WHITE FLAG - One lap left. If
red comes out on this lap, the race is over.
- CHECKERED FLAG- Race is
officially over. All karts must cross to score.
- Drivers who are involved in or
cause a yellow or red flag will start in the back of the pack.
Two-spin rule is in effect for heats, dashes, B&C mains, and three (3) for the
A-mains.
- If you spin the leader from
behind, you'll go to the back and the leader stays in the lead.
Once even (wheel to wheel) with the leader this is considered
heads up racing. The intent is to disallow spinning the leader
out by a blatant hit to take the lead.
- There
will be a time limit placed on all races.
When the time limit is reached, white flag will be thrown
regardless of how many laps have been completed. Time limit will
be established before the race.
